I am often asked, “What’s a good vitamin?” I believe in vitamins and their ability to promote health and prevent illness. The scientific study of vitamins is constantly changing and giving us new insights into which vitamins are best for which people. The media, unfortunately, often misinterprets, misunderstands or misinforms the research on vitamins. It’s imperative that we use scientific studies to help us improve our knowledge about vitamin formulations so that the best forms of vitamins are given at the best dosages.
Unfortunately, the quality of vitamins available on the market is highly variable. Personally, I am hesitant to take anything myself that I don’t have complete confidence in, and I also can’t recommend vitamins to my patients that don’t meet the highest standard of quality and purity. The ingredients of vitamin formulas also need to be supported by the latest scientific research that is available today.
These requirements strongly “narrow the field” of vitamins I am willing to take or recommend to my patients. The frustration of being able to find the right vitamins that satisfy my own requirements was one of the primary reasons that we decided to develop our own vitamin supplements at Canyon Ranch.
I believe Canyon Ranch vitamins are among the best quality vitamins on the market, and these are the vitamins that I take, personally. I have reviewed the independent laboratory analysis and manufacturing process of the Canyon Ranch vitamins and I am impressed with the results. I am grateful to Canyon Ranch for their commitment to producing a vitamin that I can take and recommend with confidence.
